I am an ordained, non-denominational minister officiating weddings at many gorgeous island locations.
I can perform your wedding ceremony in a park, forest, beach, home, garden, church, resort, boat, ferry or airplane. It can be just the two of you, or a small or large wedding.
Ordained as a Minister (non-denominational) in 1996. For the past 15 years I have married couples on San Juan, Lopez, and Orcas Islands, and Hawaii as well. I have performed many weddings in a variety of settings. When the bride and groom come from different religions and beliefs, we have always been able to incorporate both so that you can create together your unique and meaningful expression. I also perform the renewal of your wedding vows.
I have been a resident of San Juan Island, Washington for 26 years and can assist you with information on the many beautiful locations available here. Upon request I can also suggest individuals and businesses who can provide services that you may need.
My fee varies depending on the size of your wedding, the location, the services you request, and whether you would choose to have me at your rehearsal to assist you with your wedding procession logistics.
When you contract my services, I will take you step by step on how to obtain your marriage license (if you desire a license from San Juan Island). I will also send you 5 wedding vows to choose from, or you can get ideas on how to write your own vows. I also provide maps of the island, marked with outdoor locations that I recommend our beautiful spots to get married on the island.
My main service is officiating your wedding. If you desire the following services added to your ceremony, there will be an additional cost. As a long term resident performing many weddings, I can recommend the work of businesses that I have witnessed repeatedly who are integrous and have excellent accountability: i.e., flowers, catering, photography, places to stay, and special places to go that match your desire for your special wedding day.
